 Introduction

iGetonboard S.r.l., headquartered in Fisciano, Via Fratelli Napoli 26, VAT 06250500656, is the owner of the vehicle rental brokerage service presented through our website. This document, together with the privacy policy, the vehicle rental conditions, the terms of use of our website, and any specific attachments, constitutes the entire agreement between you, the users of our services, and iGetonboard S.r.l.

 Terms of Use

Changes to the Terms
iGetonboard S.r.l. reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of the site after such changes will constitute acceptance of the new terms.

Brokerage Services
iGetonboard S.r.l. acts as an intermediary between the user and rental companies. The booking of a vehicle made through iGetonboard S.r.l. is subject to both the terms and conditions specified by us and the conditions imposed by the rental company, including compliance with the laws of the rental country.

Acceptance of Terms
Your booking made through our website is conditioned upon the unconditional acceptance of the terms outlined here. By proceeding with the booking, you accept these terms.

"On Request" Bookings
In cases where it is not possible to immediately confirm the availability of the requested vehicle, we will adopt the "on request" procedure, committing to providing you with the desired vehicle and informing you of the request's outcome within 2 working days.

User Responsibilities
It is the user's responsibility to verify and accept the terms and conditions of both iGetonboard S.r.l. and the rental company before confirming the booking. The user is also responsible for any damage or penalties resulting from the improper use of the rented vehicle, including traffic violations that may be reported even months after the rental contract with the rental company has ended.

Liability Limitations
iGetonboard S.r.l. will not be responsible for any service interruptions, delays, loss, or damage resulting directly or indirectly from the use of our brokerage service. Additionally, all liability for damages, theft, or accidents related to the rented vehicle will be managed according to the rental company's terms.

Rates and Payments
The proposed rates are subject to confirmation at the time of booking acceptance and full payment. All rates include any applicable taxes and charges.

Disputes
Any disputes will be handled according to Italian law and submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Salerno.

 Terms and Conditions of the Rental Service

Rental Requirements
To rent a car, you must have a credit or debit card according to the car rental provisions. When picking up the vehicle, you must present:
- The voucher or eVoucher that confirms the rental payment.
- The primary driver's credit card with sufficient balance to cover the security deposit and rental payment.
- A valid driver's license for all drivers, issued for at least 12 months, sometimes 24. (In specific cases, an international driving permit is required)
- The passport or other identification documents required by the rental agency.

Minimum Age for Rental
To rent a car, most companies require the driver to be between 21 and 70 years old. If you are under 25 or over 70, a surcharge may apply.

Renting Without a Credit Card
Until recently, renting a car without a credit card was unthinkable, but the situation has changed. Many rental companies, including major international names like Avis, Dollar, and Hertz, now allow customers to pay and leave a deposit using a debit card, as long as it is Visa or MasterCard. If you do not have a credit card, it is important to check the payment policies in the rental company's Conditions section before making a booking to ensure they accept debit cards; otherwise, the rental company may refuse your booking at the time of rental, and no deposit refund will be possible.

Services Included in the Rental Price
In most cases, the rental cost covers theft protection, collision damage waiver (CDW), local taxes, airport taxes, and road taxes. Any extras, such as the young driver fee, additional driver fee, or one-way rental fee, must be paid at the time of vehicle pick-up. These additional costs are clearly indicated during the booking process. Bringing your own child seat or GPS can be a way to reduce extra expenses. Booking for Third Parties
Yes, it is possible to make a booking on behalf of another person, provided that all requirements are met. Make sure to enter the main driver's details correctly during the booking process.

Changes to Travel Plans
If you have booked a car through iGetonboard, you have the flexibility to modify or cancel your booking without additional costs up to 72 hours before the scheduled vehicle pick-up. Additionally, if you add the "Free Cancellation" package, you can cancel up to 2 hours before the rental.

Booking Modifications or Cancellations
You can modify or cancel your booking by clicking on the link provided here. Please note that a refund will not be possible if the cancellation does not occur before the start of the rental period according to the terms of iGetonboard S.r.l. Additionally, the amount paid cannot be used for another booking.

Security Deposit
A security deposit is required at the time of vehicle pick-up to cover any costs that may arise during the rental period, such as vehicle damage, traffic violations, or lack of fuel. If you return the vehicle in the same condition as you picked it up, with the same fuel level and no traffic or parking fines, the rental company will refund your security deposit. However, if there are charges for damages or fines, they will be deducted from the deposit. The security deposit must be guaranteed with a credit card in the name of the main driver.

Early Vehicle Pick-Up
You may have the possibility to pick up the car early if it is available. However, you must request this in advance. You can do so by sending us a message, and we will do our best to accommodate your request to pick up the car early. Please note that picking up the car early may increase the total rental cost. We will always consult you before making any changes to your booking. Any vehicle shown on the rental voucher is indicative and may be replaced with a different model or a higher model may be made available by the supplier. Any refusal of such changes must be addressed directly with the supplier and not with iGetonboard S.r.l.

Refund for Booking Cancellation
You can cancel your booking using the link provided here. Please note that refunds are not available if the cancellation is made after the start of the rental period, according to the terms set by iGetonboard S.r.l. Additionally, the amount already paid cannot be applied to future bookings.

 Car Supply

Car rental companies have all rights to deny a vehicle to a person deemed unfit to drive or unsuitable to meet the requirements. iGetonboard S.r.l. should not be held responsible for completing travel arrangements, compensations, costs, or any refunds in such cases.

 Car Prices and Categories

  1. iGetonboard S.r.l. strives to ensure the accuracy of the information related to rates and descriptions of the vehicles available through its portal. However, the vastness of the offer and market fluctuations can sometimes lead to discrepancies in the displayed prices or vehicle descriptions. During the booking confirmation process and in the hours immediately following, we carefully verify that the prices and vehicle features match what was booked. In case of discrepancies due to material errors in prices or descriptions, we will take the following measures:

    - Cancellation of the Booking and Refund: iGetonboard S.r.l. reserves the right to cancel the booking, ensuring the immediate refund of any amounts already paid. No compensation will be due for the cancellation.
    - Options for the Customer in Case of Variations: We will contact the customer to discuss the possibility of maintaining the booking under the correct conditions. If the customer chooses not to proceed, the booking will be considered invalid.

Price Adjustments to Benefit the Customer
    If the actual service cost turns out to be lower than previously indicated, we will apply the lower price by updating the booking details accordingly.

 Obligations and Responsibilities

Driving Conduct
    iGetonboard S.r.l. assumes no responsibility for accidents, damages, or any other consequences resulting from driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving outside permitted areas, or negligent or reckless behavior by the user. Users accept full responsibility for any actions that contravene rental conditions or the laws of the rental country.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Insurance
    The Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) policy limits the user's financial liability for vehicle damages to a maximum amount, except in cases where the damage was caused intentionally or while the user was under the influence of drugs/alcohol or if the vehicle was used recklessly. This coverage also extends to costs for any damages to the rented vehicle or its additional components. In certain locations, items such as the windshield, roadside assistance costs, replacement keys, tires, towing expenses, and replacement locks may not be included in the insurance policy. It is important to discuss with the car rental provider to clarify any exclusions.

Theft Waiver (TW)
    The Theft Waiver (TW) coverage limits the user's legal liability in case of vehicle theft or damages resulting from an attempted theft. If the theft occurred due to user negligence, the rental service provider may require covering the entire value or cost of the rented vehicle.

Carefully check the theft waiver coverage within the terms and conditions offered by the car rental provider before making a booking.

Delivery and Pick-Up Costs
    Car rental providers may apply additional costs for delivering and picking up the vehicle outside standard office hours. It is possible to arrange the delivery and pick-up of the vehicle at the user's accommodation, although this may incur additional costs. Provide all details related to the address and delivery time at the time of booking. Delivery to private homes is generally not provided.

Out-of-Hours Service Costs
    Many car rental providers offer the possibility of picking up the vehicle outside standard office hours. This service may incur an additional cost to be paid directly to the rental provider. Carefully read the provider's terms and conditions to check for such an additional cost and to confirm the vehicle pick-up time at the time of booking. In case of flight delays, any extra costs will be borne by the customer. iGetonboard S.r.l. assumes no further responsibility in case of unavailability of out-of-hours service.

Renter's Insurance Coverage
    Carefully examine the insurance details offered by the car rental service provider. It is possible that third-party liability insurance does not cover family members or close relatives traveling with the user in the rented vehicle. The user may purchase additional insurance directly from the car rental provider. iGetonboard S.r.l. advises inquiring about the insurance coverage offered by the rental service and considering the option to extend coverage to close family members, such as spouses and children, if necessary.

Personal Accident Insurance
    This coverage is optional and may be included in the travel insurance policy under certain circumstances. Verify the specific terms with the provider before proceeding with the vehicle booking. You will also have the opportunity to purchase personal accident insurance (PAI) at the time of picking up the rented vehicle.

Indemnification
    Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless iGetonboard S.r.l., its affiliates, suppliers, and agents from any claims, causes of action, demands, losses, or damages, including legal fees, arising from the misuse of the site, the violation of these conditions, or actions related to the vehicle rental.

 Car Prices and Categories

Verification and Adjustment Process

In most cases, it is possible to arrange the delivery and pick-up of the vehicle at the user's accommodation, although this may incur additional costs. All details related to the address and delivery time must be provided at the time of booking. It is important to note that delivery to private homes is generally not provided.
  2. Exchange Rates
    Given the variable nature of international exchange rates, it is important to be aware that the final amount charged to the credit card may not exactly match the initially expected cost at the time of purchase confirmation. This variation is influenced by exchange rate fluctuations that occur between the time of booking and the actual charge on the card.

In the event of a refund, iGetonboard S.r.l. undertakes to return only the originally deducted amount, without assuming responsibility for value changes due to exchange rate modifications, which may affect the refunded amount, potentially making it different from the anticipated one.

iGetonboard S.r.l.'s policy is based on transparency and a proactive commitment to resolving any errors in favor of our customers, ensuring that the information presented on our site is as accurate and reliable as possible.

iGetonboard S.r.l. acts as a bridge between the user and various car rental companies, facilitating price and term comparisons offered by different providers through its online booking system. Although iGetonboard S.r.l. acts as an intermediary in vehicle rentals, it does not directly provide transportation services.

The document issued by iGetonboard S.r.l. at the completion of the booking process does not constitute a rental contract; rather, it serves as a booking confirmation, reporting the details of the predefined agreement with the rental company chosen by the user, including service terms and a confirmation code provided by the company.

 Obligations

Driving Conduct
   iGetonboard S.r.l. assumes no responsibility for accidents, damages, or any other consequences resulting from driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving outside permitted areas, or negligent or reckless behavior by the user.

Driver's License and Age Requirements
   Driver's license and age requirements vary from country to country. Generally, the user must provide a valid driver's license. It may also be necessary to present an international driving permit to the provider at the time of rental if required. It is important to note that an International Driving Permit cannot replace the need for a standard driver's license.

 Required Documentation

Vehicle Pick-Up
   When picking up the rental vehicle, you must provide the rental confirmation voucher, a valid driver's license, a credit card in the renter's name, and, in some cases, a passport may be required. For more information on the required documents, refer to the information provided on the rental voucher or contact the provider.

Failure to Present Documentation
   For any rental refused at the rental counter due to the inability to present the rental voucher or sufficient and required identification documents, iGetonboard S.r.l. will not be held responsible. Such cases will be treated as a "No Show," and no refund will be due.

 Bookings and Cancellations

Booking Cancellation Policy
   For cancellations communicated 72 hours before pick-up, 100% of the advance payment will be refunded. In cases where the booking is canceled with less than 48 hours' notice, an amount equivalent to the deposit paid will be retained. If you have added the "Free Cancellation" option, you will be entitled to a full refund, except for the amount paid for that option. Additionally, the premium coverage option cannot be refunded.

Non-Refundable Bookings
   Non-refundable bookings do not allow for any refund in case of cancellation, regardless of the pick-up time limitations. The Cancellation Protection is not applicable to such bookings.

"No Show" Policy
   Cases where a customer does not show up to pick up the car after reserving it are defined as "No Show," meaning no refund will be issued. Failure to show up at the rental counter will be considered a "No Show."

Cancellation at the Rental Counter
   Last-minute cancellations at the rental counter will be considered a "No Show" and are non-refundable. The premium coverage subscribed with Riverside is non-refundable in any case.

Delayed Rental Pick-Up
   If you arrive late at the rental counter without previously communicating any changes in travel plans, the rental will be considered a "No Show." Car rental providers have the right to cancel the booking in case of delay. iGetonboard S.r.l. cannot be held responsible for cancellations and "No Show" situations caused by the failure to show up at the rental counter. The tolerance period is often 1 hour from the pick-up time indicated on the voucher.

Rental Modification at the Rental Counter
   You can request a larger or smaller car or a different vehicle model at the rental counter, but the provider has the right to assess any modifications based on the availability of such cars. Additional costs may apply, which must be paid at the rental counter.

iGetonboard S.r.l. commits to providing accurate and up-to-date information through its website. However, given the vastness and complexity of the information regarding vehicle rental services and the inevitable variations that may occur, iGetonboard S.r.l., along with its affiliates, suppliers, and agents, does not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the information presented.

When you make a booking and choose to pay by credit card, we ensure that your data is always protected with the utmost care. This information is encrypted and transmitted through secure connections to payment gateways that handle transactions, ensuring highly secure data processing. For PayPal payments, the process is equally secure: you will be redirected to the PayPal website to complete the transaction, ensuring that your card details are processed directly by PayPal, which guarantees a high standard of data protection.

Regarding the retention of personal data, such as names, addresses, booking details, and emails, iGetonboard S.r.l. adopts advanced encryption systems to store this information within its secure servers. This process ensures that your data is securely stored and never exposed to unauthorized third parties.

We strictly respect our customers' privacy: the collected data is not shared with third parties without explicit consent and is used exclusively for internal communications, such as sending special offers or promotional information, always in full compliance with current privacy regulations.

 Complaints

  1. Although iGetonboard S.r.l. collaborates only with the most renowned and high-quality car rental providers on the market, ensuring quality cars, in case the customer is not satisfied or has complaints about the quality of the rented vehicle, it must be reported immediately to the car rental provider. It is difficult for iGetonboard S.r.l. to assess such complaints about the quality of the rental vehicle if no action is taken during the rental period. Therefore, we encourage customers to contact us promptly to communicate their dissatisfaction.

 Mechanical Issues/Accidents

  1. In case of mechanical difficulties or vehicle breakdown, it is necessary to immediately contact the car rental provider. If the customer is involved in an accident, both the rental provider and the local police must be contacted without delay. It is advisable to keep all relevant documentation, as it may be required later, especially in case of an insurance claim.

The car rental is subject to all the terms and conditions of the car rental imposed by the rental provider, our terms and conditions, and the laws of the country or state where the rental takes place. iGetonboard S.r.l. does not accept responsibility and cannot be held liable for damages, delays, losses, modifications, or alterations resulting from industrial disputes, air traffic control disagreements, civil conflicts, inevitable technical issues with transportation, terrorist activities, fires or adverse weather conditions, airport or port closures or congestion, natural and nuclear disasters, financial failure of airlines, or cancellation of scheduled flights.

 Applicable Law

These terms of use are subject to Italian law, which will be the only applicable law in case of any disputes related to their content, interpretation, or execution. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively according to Italian law and under the jurisdiction of the competent Italian authorities.

At the time of their publication, all the information together with the presented Terms and Conditions are considered accurate.

The Italian language version of the "Terms of Service" represents the reference text and the only one with legal effect. Translations into other languages are provided solely to facilitate understanding for non-Italian-speaking customers. Therefore, in case of discrepancies or interpretative differences between translations and the original Italian text, the provisions expressed in the Italian document will prevail.
